PENS WON THE CUP!

The Pittsburgh Penguins just won the Stanley Cup! Evgeni Malkin was the playoff MVP! Max Talbot owns! The Pens are just the third team to win the Cup in game 7 away from home ice!



...and just for Crappy, Pittsburgh is the first team to win both the Stanley Cup and Super Bowl in the same year! PITTSBURGH IS HOCKEY TOWN!

Well I'd consider the New England area better, they won Basketball, Baseball and Football in the same year.
Hockey is stupid, not like I am a fan bro, I hate the Wing's too, just the lesser of too evil's in my opinion.

No....theres a reason the wings are hockey town. 2 finals appearances in a row, that rarely happens. Theres a blemish on their record to.....a 5-0 loss.......
Talbot is nothing special, you know that. Malkin shouldn't have been playoff MVP. Anyone will tell you he had his off SERIES'.

You have to be a Penguins fan to understand why we love Talbot so much. He might not get goals every game, but when he does score, its always important. And yeah, Malkin deserved the Conn Smythe trophy. The Pens appeared in the Finals twice in a row too lol...and that loss doesn't matter. The Pens still won the cup, didn't they? They didn't give up after losing that bad...and honestly, the loss wasn't as bad as the score makes it seem. They scored 3 on the PP and 1 right after the PP ended. Fleury sucked that game...



...and Crappy, no one likes basketball or baseball, so FUCK NEW ENGLAND.

Yeah I guess you do have to be a completely biased fan to understand why you like a player who isn't special whatsoever.

Well you guy's are the only people I've ever met that likes Hockey..... I know more that like Baseball and Basketball. I cant really stand any of it.

i can only watch football throughout the season

I really only watch hockey with friends, or when I go to Canada, that's the only sport that matters (though they love college football too). The NBA is all for show, I can't stand it, college BB is where its at. Baseball is my second favorite to watch, but Football is definitely the easiest to watch all season (pros and college). I enjoy NASCAR too, but I am probably the only one here, I really like cars - and no, I live in New York, not the deep South...and I live in a Suburb next to a large American city, so I'm not a hick.

Smoke Gary Bettman is the comisioner of the nhl. He is trying to get americans interested in hockey so basically hes against any move of teams outside the US.
Jim Balsille the owner of RIM, the makers of blackberries tried to buy the pens, and move them to hamilton, buy the predators, and move them to hamilton, and now hes trying to buy the coyotes, and move them to hamilton.

There is a court case about it. The largest hockey market is southern ontario, and he wont let us move THE WORST TEAM IN THE NHL, IN THE WORST POSSIBLE MARKET, TO THE BEST POSSIBLE MARKET. Protests against the move had under 500 people while the facebook group against the move had less than 1000...
