i still dont understand how those are supposed to help

regular kontrol freaks dont work worth shit. they are supposed to increase the lenght of the control sticks, which makes the leverage better when you try to move, but they dont work at all, and are incredibly uncomfortable

Maybe for you, but for some people it's a real advantage. I think it depends on what you prefer. Like that new Razor Xbox 360 controller, it lets you adjust the tension in the sticks themselves. For $13 or whatever, I'd be willing to try these. I have big hands and I sometimes "Dropshot" or whatever cause I don't always realize I have my hand pushed on the sticks, so larger sticks might help me a lot.
