There were some worse calls, but Ravens beat themselves. Steelers just happened to be the other team. Defense played it's heart out and Suggs is a straight up beast. 13-5 is pretty good and I'm sure lots of people wish their team could have done that well, especially with the schedule they had.

Well I'd go on a rant, which I still might, then people would say it's typical CG blaming Refs, but if anyone has ever watched Ravens games, they know that they get crap calls often. What bothered me ever more then the Punt Return for TD that was called back for BS was the inconsistency with how the refs were calling to begin with.

An example is this.

First series of the game Ravens face 3rd and 8 on the Steelers 40 yard line, Flacco passes to Heap who is interfered with, but no call. Then on the next possession they call interference on the Ravens CB who was pushed down by the Steelers WR. It should have been offensive P.I.
The next series Derrick Mason is hit with a Offensive P.I. on a play that was nowhere near P.I.

It wasn't just the refs that cost them the game, I mean when you give them short fields to score on 25, 25 and 6 yards all because of turnovers, your not going to win often. Ravens gave up 21 points off Turnovers. Steelers actually couldn't sustain much as far as offense goes.

It pretty much makes me hate them all the more and I'll cheer for whoever plays against them, though I feel the packers will win the SuperBowl this year, they are clearly a cut above the other teams.

I went 3-1 this week too, had Ravens won they would have gotten the Home AFC Championship game.... Sigh.

seattle = NFC

superbowl = 1 NFC and 1 AFC. therefore both are impossible for superbowl. you claim to be a football fan?
