Rumor: New Perks/Killstreaks Coming to Black Ops?

With the recent First Strike DLC trailer that was released earlier today, people have been noticing something very odd.

At the beginning of the trailer as it scrolls past through a list of things, if you stop and look you can see Perks/Killstreaks.

Could this possibly mean that perks/killstreaks will be available as DLC? I think everyone certainly hopes not as it would make the price of the DLC jump up by a certain amount. The DLC is already expensive. If Treyarch is smart on this, they will just release it for FREE, the ancient word.

This will be classified as a rumor so don't panic just yet.

i mean they could unlock stuff to make u get a better customization on ur person which would be quite nice lol
the worst thing that would happen is ppl would getmad cuz they dont wanna spend the money and prolly quit the game

Just as long as they don't bring back bullshit perks, I don't know any perks worth adding though.

what could you add? really only 3 perks come to mind that are "worth" adding

stopping power, juggernaut, danger close. i so hope they dont add them though...

Maybe they'll bring back Shades.

Stopping power would be the only perk i would want back. That way when i hit people with a sniper rifle i dont get hit markers 50% of the time.

I wouldn't mind stopping power, Martydom, Danger Close.

Jugg don't bother me, without stopping power, it's like everyone has Jugg anyway.

exactly, its balanced because everyone shooting at you without stopping power is the same way. As soon as you put in stopping power everyone who doesnt run it will lose every gunfight. the only other way to survive is to have juggernaught and then people who dont run stopping power will lose every gunfight. Having one or the other is worse than having both.

Not having either is why this game actually takes gunskill.

Well they keep adding bullet lag and with all the patching they've done it lags it all the more. Game coding isn't really supposed to have all the extra stuff added in. The cheaters, glitchers and all that are forcing more updates that slow down the game. So Stopping Power would help IMHO.
It worked best in COD4, you hardly ever saw Jug and gunfights actually did take skill.

you're right about cod4, but that was just a good community..competetive gaming went down the shithole once mw2 came out
