In case anyone was interested in a no frills way to stream video or make montages but maybe don't know how to work all the intricate details of a HD PVR or have the money for one, this is a great alternative. It costs $89 and comes with component cables. Also even though they claim it only records in 480p you can actually use setting to make it 720p. You can also record and play in 1080p. This is the easiest setup available and it comes with a pretty nice editing program.
I know a lot of people who ask me "How can I stream?" and this is an easy answer that actually works pretty damn well.
And here is a video that was recorded and edited with Roxio. I think it looks fantastic and even more colorful then some HD PVR records I've seen.
Here is a tutorial on how to adjust the settings to up them to 720p

Looks cool but a bit pricey IMO for something that markets as only being able to cap 480 (aka standard def)

All the video's I've seen are 720p, also considering no current console actually outputs 1080p right now or is capable of true HD, I think this is the easiest and best answer to streaming and recording.
