Activision hasn't "ruled out" Elite support for COD4, MW2

ctivision's Call of Duty Elite community platform will integrate with Call of Duty: Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 at launch, but the publisher may also add the service to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2.

"Currently we're supporting all Call of Duty games starting with Black Ops," Beachhead Studio boss Chako Sonny told OXM in a lengthy, four-page interview you can read in issue 75, on sale 7th July.

"We haven't ruled anything out yet, but we've been laser-focused on Black Ops implementation, and more importantly, instrumenting the service to support every game that comes on from here," he said.

"The challenge is cracking open the old games, because it only works well when it's built next to and within the game," added Activision's vice-president of digital for Call of Duty Jamie Berger.

"We'd love to do it in theory, but in practice it's a lot harder than it sounds. The focus is first to get it right on our current ones forward, and then we may make the decision to go back at some point."

Not on the Xbox 360. There is still 20k on COD4 and around a million on MW2.

Nah, XBL has a feedback system. Just report JTAG consoles and they get banned from XBL.
