There’s a lot of secrecy swirling around Halo 4. Quite understandable, really. Halo 4 is to be a true sequel unlike the rereleased and remastered Halo – Combat Evolved Anniversary due this November 15. Combat Evolved is an updated version of the first installment of the Halo franchise from 10 years ago. It’s a good way to introduce newcomers to the series to all the features and elements that put Halo on the map. However, many series fans are looking ahead not back. Many are wondering about the awesome possibilities that Halo 4 might contain. Well, their wish may be granted soon but not in the form of direct answers.
If these fans buy a copy of Combat Evolved, they’ll be treated to the plotline of Halo 4 just by looking for terminals within Halo – Combat Evolved Anniversary. This is similar to the terminals in Halo 3 but instead of flat and static text, the terminals will feature video. Also, fans should be sure to pick up the upcoming Halo novel that’s coming out – Halo: Glasslands. This novel will also have the plotline for Halo 4 since it tells the story of the things that transpired between Halo 3 and Halo 4. I have a feeling we’ll be getting more information in a more rapid clip as 2012 fast approaches.
