Madden 12 demo out now

The Madden 12 demo is out now, I'm downloading it to check and see if it's maybe worth getting. EA extended their license with the NFL, so Madden is it for the long haul, might as well try it out!

I like being able to play a football game online against legitimate competition instead of against weak CPU competition. Unfortunately, the best way to do that is to have the latest madden game.

Shotty do people still disconnect and play cheaply on Madden? I remember people would go for it on 4th down or run the same play over and over again...

I didn't really pick up playing Madden 11 until recently. Unfortunately, I'm way behind the curve there, because I'm used to the older Madden games, so I've been getting wrecked. From what I've seen, people sometimes disconnect, but it gives you a win for it. I haven't seen anybody go for it on 4th down in 4-5 games played, and the way the playcalling is it makes it easy to mix your plays up more, so kids tend to not just run the same play repeatedly. It's definitely an improvement over when I'd play Madden 07 or 08 online on the PS2.

Well my assessment on Madden 12 so far is it's okay, they do a nice presentation at the opening, I thought they were going to introduce the whole defense, but they ended up only introducing Julius Peppers and Urlacher.

I cant get the computer off the field long enough to test out my offense, so far the Bears have eaten up the whole first quarter and when I did get the ball Rodgers threw a pick.....hmmm
