DON'T BUY THE NEW MADDEN GAME!

I got my review copy from EA Sports, and even though its the PS3 version that I got, they took out Franchise and Season modes. They replaced it with "Connected Careers", but you can only play as the player you choose or coach you choose for the mode. I don't know what the Crud they were thinking?

Dude Connected Careers is far from a traditional franchise mode. You have to pick being a coach, then you can play in a more traditional way, but you can end up fired by your team. If you pick player in CC then you can only control that player, it takes over for Superstar mode.

Get it if you want dude, but they messed it up big time. They added "motion blur" to the game, but it just looks like someone rubbed grease on the screen, they brought back the stupid flick stick for field goals.

There is just something about not having a traditional franchise or season mode that doesn't feel right to me.

I'm not sure why they mess with the things that work, I'll play it some more and post up my review before the game releases, by law I have to follow the embargo and not post anything until the 24th, which is still 4 days before release, but I just wanted to give you guys the heads up. Also, most of the Achievements are weird, I preferred the ones that happened during the franchise, but those all seem to be gone.

i forgot say fantsy draft will be back in madden 14 they ran out of time to put it in madden 13 josh loomans words where are the achievements at?

Sounds like a change of pace, though I'll miss my fantasy teams . They did something similar with dynasty mode in NCAA 13. They made it so you could choose either Off. Cord, Def. cord, or Head Coach and you signed a contract. Odd, but cool at the same time.

EA just needs to stop. I don't buy the fidgeting madden game because its realistic, i buy the damn game because it's entertaining. Hell, I would love it if they brought back the no-offsides and the ultra nig running speed because it was fun as hell.
