Xbox 360-Exclusive "Skyrim" DLC "Hearthfire" Lets You Build a Home and Fill it With Orphans

Bethesda has announced Skyrim's next DLC drop, and while "Dawnguard" was a collection of new items, characters, locations, quests, and abilities, "Hearthfire" lets you simply build a home.

You'll start out with a small cottage, and eventually build it up into a compound complete with armory, alchemy lab, stable, and presumably every other amenity that Skyrim has to offer. Oh, and you'll fill it with orphans.

We're hoping it gives you the option of going all Fagin on those kids, adopting them only to train them and unleash an army of loyal pickpockets on every city on the continent. Maybe we're thinking too big, though.

Honestly this DLC looks better than dawnguard, I'll probably get it.

Its only 400 MS Points, mostly its stuff you can do in Fable games though.

You can't build a house from the ground up in Fable like on that, or collect resources to build it. I think this is much better than Fable in that aspect, it's much more like the Sims.

Well, I doubt it will even be comparable to what you can do in the sims, but I think it's a step toward newer RPGs where you can literally live the life of your character.

well I'm not saying it's an exact, just closer to that than what Fable offers. Not really a step forward that much though for RPG's, MMO's have been offering the ability to build personalized houses/guild halls/etc, I mean even RuneScape has had the ability for years now.
