A-rod homerd with a 2run hr making it a homerun in 4 consecutive game.
Jeter hit a bases clearing double
Mark Texira HIT A 2ND DECK 2RUN HOMERUN
Melkey Cabrea came up big in the 7th.
Cano slapped a single.
All of the Yankees hit greatly.
Fransico Cervielle is a great rookie and has done a hell of job cathcing while posada and molina are out.

Great game

Final score was 9-1.
The new Yankees Stadium is amazing.

No offense to Yankee fans but they have like a 300 million dollar payroll and they haven't won anything in who knows how long?
Going back to their World series wins in the 90's and 2000's you can trace their best players to the use of steroids.
Clemens, A Rod, Petitte, Giambi etc.....
So i'll take a legit, small payroll team like the Ray's everytime.
Here's hoping for another Yankee Meltdown.

Baseball needs a salary cap, but I will not apologize for my team trying to win. Boston, Baltimore, and several other teams can do the same.

Those markets are not big enough to compete with a 300 million dollar payroll, which is why I will always root for whoever the Yankee opponent's are.
They can try to buy as many Championship's as they want but at the end of the day they haven't been champs in a while and continue to cast a shadow with the roid's and uncapped seasons.

underdogs are always much funner to root for then the team with the advantage
especially when the underdog wins, shit gets wild

This clan was built as an underdog or dark horse, I prefer that role.
