If I suck so bad at ps3 why do I have the 3rd best K/D/R on waw and COD4?
It's not the players that are skilled, it's the lag that pisses me off, yes it's in every game to an extent, but waw and cod4 are just terrible with it.
I say and always will say that 360 offers the most in the way of competition., more players play the games and there are more teams on the 360 versions of the games for GB.

Now lets do math
I spent 380 for xbl,2 games, and a console which came with controller headset and 20 gig harddrive.

Dude i paid less that u by 120 bucks.

COD4 is not a good example of quality online for PS3. like i've been saying for the past year PLAY R2 OR KZ2 ITS LAGGG FREE AND R2 IS 30 V 30!!!!!!!!

you also have to consider SWK that we have built in wireless which cost you 50+ dollars. rechargeable controllers standard(no more hassling with batteries and having to pause the game change batteries and then un pause) blu-ray, inter changable harddrive ( ANY and i mean ANY 2.5" laptop harddrive can work on a PS3, so i could have 500 GB of memory if i wanted and i'm not limited to Microsofts 3 different sizes that probably cost a lot for like anything above 150), bluetooth which i can just use any old one for a phone that i may have lying around on it (and i know crappy is going to say but they all suck. my friends have them and they work just fine. i have one it works just fine. just cause little kids don't know how tho change their mic sensitivity doesn't make them suck)

so SWK plug in all the extra stuff that you have to pay for to even come close to what the PS3 has... i believe we beat you....

PS3 price point will never beat my 360 price point.
$120 with High Def Cables, Headset.

Where as I spent $550 on a PS3, $40 on a headset another $75 on Monster cables and that was before I had bought a single game.

The only thankful part for me is that I didn't get a sic axis controller.
The issue with using any old blutooth on the PS3 is quality control. The voice chat on PS3 is the worst I have ever heard. I've been on a cell phone in a tunnel and heard better chat.

Instead of looking at Microsoft as "Evil" for limiting and controlling what works best with their console, you should be asking why you are suffering with poor quality audio and online.

In a survey done the average 360 owner owns 8 games compared to the average PS3 owner which owns 3.
Sony has thought they can do no wrong since the early 90's when they tried to be sneaky with the Nintendo contract and gain control of their first party game rights. Which means they would have been able to make Mario, Zelda, metroid etc.....
Even though Nintendo went to them about making a CD add on for the Super NES.

To say NO LAG is a joke, I've played both and had lag on both. Nothing is lag free, but I can say and be truthful when I say in no way, shape or form does the PS3 online experience resemble the paid for, fun experience of the 360.

I'm not sure what Microsoft did to you as a kid or whatever, but they came out with the better gaming console and online service this time.

the person you played with must have had terrible connection cuz i have never experienced lag on R2. some people who have had terrible connections lagged but never the game

also yes nintendo asked sony to make them a CD drive for the SNES i know that. but you are wong on one part actually. sony for making the CD drive wanted 25 % of their profits from the system.... nintendo dropped sony and went to Philips. once sony decided to take what they had made and make into the playstation nintendo tried to sue sony for breach of contract and claimed that they owned the name but the case was dropped. i know this cuz i just wrote a report on this lol

From what I understand Sony wanted rights to the Nintendo Characters.
Pretty much what happened with the CDI anyway, but Sony had a habit of coming out smelling like a rose, I'm glad that the stinkweed's finally grew in their garden.

In all honesty, they needed to take a page from last gen. The PS2 was the weakest console on the market, but had really good games, was priced nice and affordable. It sold great and still sell's well today, in fact PS2 games were outselling PS3 games, so they stopped all Backwards Compatibility in order to push sales of the PS3 games. I guess in a survey alot of PS3 owners said there were no good games for ps3 so they bought or played ps2 games on their ps3's.

Where as last gen the Xbox was magnificent, with some nice games and good online, but much like this current gen people don't want to pay $500 to see an extra dust particle.
Also the PS2 was easier to program for, so much like how the 360 is easier to program for now, all multiplatform games were done on ps2 then ported to xbox, so it didnt even take advantage of it. Same thing now. Multiplatform games are done on 360 devs and then ported to ps3.

The original Xbox was basically a Computer, which is why it was so big. I loved the original. I got it strictly for KOTOR, then found games like Conker, Jade Empire, Jedi Academy, Halo, Ninja Giaden etc....
The whole reason I even found out about the difference in a paid online service and a free one was I was playing NFL 2K5 on PS2 and the lag was terrible and so I got the game on XBox and a fee 3 month card for live and I was blown away at how well put together live was.

So when I say Sony turned me to XBox that's what I mean.
I wish Sony would charge something for their online. If thats what it'd take to sure up its online system. Cause at this point I wont even get MW2 on PS3. Cause I can imagine the nightmares already.... "Match ended due to poor host connection quality" ughhhhhhgghhhhh
