Beta Testing BFBC2

And it's pretty sweet, Modern Warfare 2 lags behind the realism of BFBC2 and building destruction.

No, BFBC2 is terrible. I have the beta as well.
It's really, really bad. The structure demolition is not enough of a redeeming quality.
You can see how bad they wanted to copy the things that make MW2 so great.
The game is so slow and the lack of prone really hurt it, as well as vehicles.
If you didn't like the first one, this one is pretty much the same, but maybe even a bit worse.

Structure of demolition > than anything "cool" MW2 can come up with. I'm not saying its overall better than MW2, but MW2 could learn a thing or two.

Well this is the first beta so I wonder if they'll improve it on the second beta run

haha yea i remember when BFBC was coming out and everyone was like "Oh that game is gonna be so sweet im gonna play that forever" and then after a week no one played it anymore

Nah, MW2 got perfect scores on every front. BFBC2 will get like 7's.
There wasn't a single aspect of the beta that I enjoyed. The vehicles and the lack of a prone feature really hamper it.
Most of the time you are trying to find a ride to get back in the action or you have to walk to the action, so you are constantly running towards something.

Also even though it's a beta, it's not like they are going to scrap their game when it already has a release date. This is 90% finished product of what will be seen.
So like I said, if you didn't like the first one, this is more of the same, yet somehow more annoying.

Trust me, nobody will be playing this game while MW2 is out.

I hope to god MW doesn't use destructible environments.

Why not? Can't hide? LAck of clan support to the first one really hurt it.

It made the last one really, REALLY bad.
This one plays the same, but tried to rip off the MW2 hud and damage indicator etc....

Everyone uses Tanks, Choppers, and other cheap ass vehicles.

lol BFBC the fuirst one was okay, I remember playing the beta with snipes and cg and some others on 360, but the no clan support, 4 person party (wtf?) was all stupid. And destructible enviroments are gay when there is vehicles, I remember the first one, gd damn, the beta was only gold rush, so you'd spawn in, on the other side of a HUGE map, have to run to the other end, hope you survive, get to the objective, which was inside a building, only to have a tank blow up the building and then you. It was fucking gay. I remember the battles lasting like 30-40 mins a fucking map, ridiculous.

I have the beta also i can tell you im gonna get this game. The destructive terrain and the all out warfare are great the game still has yet to be completly devoloped and i can see things that im pretty sure the game designers will add in the final product, and after all the beta is only Afrika harbor on rush. And as far tanks jeep planes helis being cheep. Its not with 24 players and adqueate means of killing each of them it makes the game really feel like all out warfare tanks kill jeep infantry kills tank another tank kill infantry then heli blows up tank which is then killed by infantry on aa gun. Explosion everywhere, its also much more team built then MW2 you actually need a sniper a support(medic) speacilist(SMG) Assult rifle the amount of long range combat and how quickly you need to find cover is much more realistic and diverese then any COD game. COD all you do is kill people. BFBC is the broad warfare game

Broad warfare game that will rely on communication and you can only talk to 3 people in your squad.
Hardly a great concept.
I seriously doubt this game sells well, I think 1.5 million copies sell, compared to the (probably 15 million) copies of MW2 that will be sold by March.
It's a crowded market for FPS games, especially when the perfect example of an FPS is already out.

I agree MW2 is great but by no means the "perfect FPS" The perfect FPS has great combat like MW2 but much more death & destruction with enough counter balances to even everything out. IF has acheived making the perfect game for killing people, but it has no depth in it what so ever. Bad company has much more depth but lacks in basic ground combat but from what i've seen the beta this is starting to change

It'll sell poorly and lack competition.

its for people who like battlefield in general and if u like cod,u probly wont want this cause ull b getting blasted 24/7 and u should know cg and hh
