GOW2 Basics (tips)

ok since we are starting to play this game a lot more for fun i thought i share some tips.

1. always roll in two, one with a shotty the other with lancer.

2. team fire, both you and your partner fire at the same time so more damage is accumulated.

3. body then fire. what i mean by body them is to melee them. this comes when your face to face with an opponent. it will stun them and allow for a one hit kill with the shot gun if done right.

4. C&C. which stands for corner and chainsaw. this works 90% of the time. its nooby but a assured kill.

5. the more power weapons you control the more of an assured victory you have but not necessarily. most power weapons are located in center of maps or left side or right side of the maps from where you spawn..

6. ROll, rolling is you best friend in this game. it will help you dodge bullets.

7. plant smokes on wall, they help as a proximity mine. that way if your back is unwatched the mine can warn you.

8. Dont steal kills unless its life or death or the person that made the down isnt near and the person might get revived.

Well they have helped me out. Honestly I used to hate the Gears online mode. I loved the campaign and just really hated the online. I started like 5-38 on my first few maps.
Since GD actually gave me these tips, I do much, much better. I'm not great by any means but I can hold my own and get some kills, back people up.

I admit, to get into the game I used the C&C strategy, it's noobish but man I was chainsawing through some niccas.
Then I gradually got better with the shotgun and doing the Melee/shotgun tactic. So listen to these tips, they really work. Now I love Gears 2 online! In fact you wont see me much on MW2 until they fix all these damn glitches.
