who are some good rap, techno, or alternative rock artists? im getting bored with the usual lil wayne and eminem =/

you'll like all of those except lifehouse goo goo dolls and probably all american rejects. also i know you listen to some of those already.

Well I like them, Well AAR I like a few songs only, but Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse and Daughtry do amazing live shows.
Lots of girls there for sure, but a ton of guys as well.
Much better then Rap or some other schust I've heard.
Daughtry is borderline hard rock, my dad digs him and he is definitely not a girl. Daughtry has a rich sound.

alt rock = boring for the most part. all the same schust, same riffs, same old boring lines in songs (ok, they're reworked around a bit, some different words, etc, but usually all the same meaning), pretty much what CG suggested is tops for alt rock, IMO.

Rap, techno, both suck, so no suggestions on those.

looking through my list of artists, I can suggest a few more actually:

A fire inside (known as AFI by most) they have a few good songs.

Slipknot is terrible. Linkin Park is Rap/Alt and SOAD is not alt rock.

thanks just my apinion but you have to give system props for being one of the weirdest bands for songs anyway

I like some SOAD stuff, I just don't think they are alt rock.

slipknot if anything is considered nu-metal, but I consider them schust, they suck. Never was a fan of linkin park, they're more alternative music, and SOAD is closer to metal than anything else.

You have to understand there are a lot of benefits with liking bands that girls like.. And learning the lyrics to the songs of course.

yeah i went to a flyleaf, breaking ben, and 3dg concert back a lil bit ago, amazing, but nowhere near as good as disturb's music as a weapon IV

Disturbed really isn't alternative rock either, disturbed is more alternative metal / border nu-metal.

Demon hunter is christian-hardcore/screamo.

Flyleaf has 1 or 2 decent songs.

It'd be easier to name things you'd like if you gave some examples of what you already listen to.

idk if u guys have heard any dubstep (its more popular in EU) but its kinda a type of techno, similar to drum n bass. some pretty cool songs but alot get repetitive. its seen in alot of newer montages
