A true metal legend who inspired a lot of great bands, including but not limited to the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and countless others, he died this morning after a battle with stomach cancer, he was the former frontman of Black Sabbath (after Ozzy left), Heaven and Hell, Elf, Rainbow, and of course the band Dio, he's also the one who popularized the devil horns within metal and countless other things.
He will be missed but will always be remembered and live on in his music and through the people in the Metal community.

Yeah, he was a cool guy. He'd wait around and talk to fans and sign autographs and schust without saying a word, and he'd remember fans too if he seen them again at another show or something.
