Despite three new entries into the UK games charts Top 10 this week, 2K Games' Mafia II held onto the number one spot for the third week running.
With one of the UK's biggest game launches ever, today's release of Halo: Reach promises to break all chart records for 2010, so expect Bungie's final Halo hurrah to dominate the charts for weeks to come.
Activision's Marvel tie-in, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions was the highest placed new entry this week in the charts debuting at number five, according to data provided by GFK Chart-Track.
Square Enix's curiously subtitled Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep had a decent week for a PSP-excusive title as it entered the charts at number six.
Elsewhere in the chart, World War II strategy title R.U.S.E. debuted at seventh spot, whilst Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 shot up five places to claim the number two place.
