Many consider Gears of War superior in terms of multiplayer functionality when compared to its successor, Gears of War 2. When Epic launched Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360 in 2008, the game was heavily hyped and gamers were prepared to embark on a new journey with Marcus, Dom, Cole, and Baird. Though the single-player campaign was excellent and well-made, the multiplayer was the biggest disappointment for many.
Up until the launch of Gears of War 2, the original title was one of the most played games on Xbox Live. Even though Gears of War wasn't deep in multiplayer options or features, the gameplay was addicting, compelling, and a blast to play. Wallbouncing was one of the features that made Gears of War fun for some, annoying to others, but it was a technique many learned and mastered. When this technique was removed from Gears of War 2, many were disappointed by it, but that doesn't look like it'll be the case for Gears of War 3.
Cliff Bleszinksi asked gamers if they wanted wallbouncing and after an overwhelming positive response, it looks like it will be making a triumphant return.
Looks like the majority of you guys like wallbouncing. Got to be careful with the 3rd game in a series to not mess with it too much.
