Actually as a lyricist myself, I can respect pretty much anything that is well written, so many people claim they hate this or that, yet someone is downloading there albums and seeing them in concerts, since they are sold out and selling millions.

Funny, when I went to their concert a few years ago there were tons of guys there too. I'd say chick music is more Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga ect...

Ya, a lot of chicks do like Nickelback, I'm not gonna lie. I don't know many guys who like them, I sitll don't like their music, but atleast they showed they are capable of playing decent stuff, but still decide to stick with their crap.

Ya, they will stick to playing the hits from their own albums, when I saw them they played some Metal a bit too, they seem like quality people. I know some people like to hate just because something is popular.

Well anyone can have a hit now days, look at Bieber, Rihanna, Kesha, eminem, etc, etc, all garbage "musicians".

Personally I just find Nickelback to be generic rock that a lot of it sounds the same, the composition is just bad/generic on all of their songs, just my opinion, but myself personally even if the lyrics are masterful if the composition of the song is bad the song is bad.

Well opinions are like assholes, everybody has one...well pretty much everyone anyway.
The only facts are what critics think and what sales are, sales are always solid for them and critics pretty much always praise their albums as well. So facts are they are a successful band with millions of albums sold and have been around for almost twenty years now.
