| Good things come in pairs -- scratch that -- they come in threes these days. Machinima’s Inside Gaming Awards are starting very soon and with this comes big news from Xbox, Machinima, and Verizon.
Verizon is sponsoring the Gamer’s Choice awards this year and has several great prizes up for grabs including a grand prize of 2 years of Verizon FiOS triple play service, a multi room DVR, and a Kinect. Gamers can enter by voting for their favorite game of 2011 through Machinima’s Facebook page.
There’s even better news about FiOS. Sign up as a new FiOS subscriber online and there’s a great offer in store with the triple play service, FiOS TV, FiOS 35 Mbps Internet and Verizon Voice Service. Its only $89.99, which is a great price for the speed. Verizon will also throw in 12 months of XBL Gold and a copy of “Xbox Halo: Combat Evolved” Anniversary game.
More good news, live FiOS TV is coming to the Xbox 360. If you have a Xbox Live Gold membership and subscribe to FiOS TV and Internet you will be able to view live channels through your 360. This sounds like a real push to make the 360 the center of your entertainment world. Hopefully, more cable and Internet providers follow suit and create discounted bundles for the budget conscious gamer. | |
