Fable: Heroes leaked for Xbox LIVE Arcade At Microsoft's Spring 2012 Showcase.

Microsoft showcased Fable: Heroes, a new Xbox LIVE Arcade title, at its Spring 2012 Showcase event in San Francisco recently.

The game reveal must have been under embargo, considering Gamasutra has edited out all reference to Fable: Heroes in the article its mentioned. Though, it never provided any details beyond a name.

Steve Beinner, Microsoft’s director of global marketing first party games, told the website that there is still “a lot of life left in the Xbox 360,” and teased that new IP for the platform would be revealed later this year.

“We’re very proud of our IP and we have some of the biggest IP in the industry,” he said.

“First party’s role is to really be pioneers,” he added – to “really be a showcase for what the platform’s capabilities are.”

We take it an official reveal will come next week, when the Game Developers Conference kicks off.
