The clock was quickly ticking towards the deadline where the Colts would have to pay Peyton Manning his $28 million bonus. With less then 48 hours until that deadline, it has been announced that the Colts will officially release longtime quarterback Peyton Manning on Wednesday morning. This has been expected for awhile and it will become official during a press conference tomorrow morning.
Now we turn our attention to possible landing spots for Manning. The Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins and Arizona Cardinals seem to be the front-runners in the Manning Sweepstakes. Other possible teams could be the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.
