Star Wars Battlefront III : Pre-Alpha Gameplay (NEW)

Just to clarify what this is, remember that footage we saw a couple of years ago of a nearly completed SWBF3 game from Free Radical? This is early, EARLY footage of the pre-alpha footage from the game. It shows some nice scope, but keep in mind, textures and things like that aren't on the game at this point even.

Free Radical closed after the mess of a game Haze flopped on PS3 and sadly this particular version of SWBF3 will never be seen. I just thought it was interesting.

then why does the title say new?

Its newly discovered, not new as in from a new Battlefront game. This was way before the other footage we've seen from Free Radical's version of SWBF3 that got canned because of Haze.

We have seen this before, which was pretty deep in the development.

i wonder would the people that are making it now pick up where the other dev's left off?

Nope, when Free Radical died they said all the tech and everything that they made died with them. So if Spark Unlimited is working on SWBF3, they made it from the ground up.

Well I wouldn't want the game to be half from 2008 and half from 2012 anyway, lol.
