For those that aren't familiar with Erector Sets, the metallic construction sets have been around in one form or another since 1913. The sets featured metal beams that could be fastened together with nuts and bolts as well as pulleys, gears and motors. The building sets are a part of the National Toy Hall of Fame.

The Erector brand is currently owned by Meccano and does not feature the same beam structure building sets.
