LucasArts was working on Battlefront III before being closed

"Before it was sadly closed, LucasArts was working on a secret project titled “Version Two,” which was set to become the highly sort after Battlefront III, and now some gameplay footage of that project has sneaked online.

The project was said to be version two of Star Wars: First Assault with the plan being to turn it into Battlefront III, according to Kotaku. The game was set to feature FPS gameplay as well as ground and aerial vehicular combat. The leaked footage shows AT-AT Walkers, X-Wings, TIE Fighters, and several other vehicles in large-scale combat.

“[There's] a very vocal audience that’s clamoring for Battlefront III,” a source told Kotaku. “We were hoping to eventually give it to them.”

I already posted this, First Assault was a FPS that took place in the Star Wars universe, LucasArts was closed down by Disney recently and all the games they were working on were shelved.

So we wont see any of them, although Disney said they might license out the franchise to other developers, which basically means prepare for more shovelware.
