Star Wars Battlefront 2 servers going offline forever on May 31st

It's a sad day, I've come to report that the servers for SWBF2 will go offline forever on May 31st, 2014. That means the game almost lasted a full 9 years, spanned 2 new generations and still has players on it. I was thinking of getting a few guys together to at least run a few pubs. So if you see this let me know.

We're doing one last BFC season from April 19th through May 30th, Crappy. Even if you guys don't want to put an MoH team in to compete, we'd love to get as many players as we can for one last ladder. Feel free to at least stop by, this could be the final time the community is together at least until SWBF3.

Ya, I got hold of Rockethoe and I think he's down. Grave was wanting to play a bit too. I doubt anything competitive but at least a farewell thing. I sent out emails to Shotty and Snipes as well.

SO Rockethoe is getting his PS2 in a couple of weeks, Shotty is going home from college on May 9th and will be able to get on SWBF2 as well. We also have Grave and I getting on, and I sent out messages to Snipes (doubt he responds) and Asap.

Yeah, definitely not something to bank on in case it doesn't pan out. Will be something to keep our eyes on. At least battlefront 3 is already confirmed, though.

Yea, it's actually a "reboot" just called Star Wars Battlefront, but I have high hopes for it. Hopefully they offer a solid single player/co-op campaign and some intense action for the multiplayer as well.

i am really going to miss this game...
