holy BaaJesus i just came bak from watchimg star trek and it was freakin amazing...... its the best movie of 09 so far hands down.... but i think terminator or transformers 2 mite take movie of the year

transformers movie will give it a run for its money. i havent seen star trek yet, but hte previews make me salivate, even though its super-nerdy. i bet scrubg-17 was beaten in throughout the whole movie

I went with william shatner to see this . . . . . . . . . Awkward

Shatner actually wanted to be in the film, but they only wanted him to do a cameo and he wanted a role the same size as Leonard Nimoy had as old spock. They refused and so he refused.

I really thought it was well done, if your a fan of the old series or movies this fit's right in, they stay try to the Star Trek lure. If your not a fan, then it'sjust a great stand alone movie. The special effects were made by George Lucas' company ILM.
