Call of Duty: Black Ops Patches Incoming

Call of Duty: Black Ops is currently being patched by Treyarch following complaints across the online community of ongoing issues and glitches.

Some of the game's teething problems have already been ironed out, with many of the multiplayer bugs such as broken game modes and unstable maps resolved in the last 24 hours. Improved matchmaking and additional online improvements are expected to be made shortly.

Black Ops broke first-day sales records on release this Tuesday with sales reaching $360m, but there have been complaints about the game's online experience has been plagued with performance issues, with the most common complaint being lag.

Treyarch has announced through its official online forums that it has live patched the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions and that there are more updates to come, focussing on improvements to online matchmaking and decreasing lag.

Lag seems to be fixed i havn't had any problems at all

impossible there hasn't even been enough time since release for you to have downloaded an update.

Good to see they fixed it so quick. Im glad they are listening to the community as well, by listening to us they really helped make BO a great game

raz is the only one ive heard complain about that i have not encountered any problems at all

Some of the issues about the lobby's might be 360 only as they have like 3.7 million online at the same time, it can take a long, long time to get into a lobby.

it was like that the first day with a part of 1
that was it
also wolf it may have been a first day thing
they need to fix spawns in HQ i got spawn killed 5xs straight it was annoying

there are tons of lagg and cant play in the bad lagg sometimes

The only thing I hate about the game is the LOBBY"S!!! We seriously spend 45 minutes out of every hour we play sitting in the lobby hearing Mr.X talk about how he wishes he had bigger hands ect....
