Mad Catz Announces Xbox 360 Publishing Deal

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.....

Gaming peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz has announced that it's obtained a publishing license from Microsoft, allowing it to begin selling games for the Xbox 360.

Darren Richardson, President and CEO of Mad Catz Interactive outlined the importance of the deal to the future of the company in today's press release --

“The execution of the Xbox 360 Publisher License Agreement marks an important milestone as we pursue our longer term goal of expanding our participation in developing, publishing and distributing games.”

No word on what exactly Mad Catz will be publishing, but Richardson's statement seems to indicate that it'll be publishing its own titles rather than looking to other developers. Keep watching TeamXbox for more developments in the months ahead.

Mad Catz sucks balls. Microsoft made a big mistake on this one.

I still remember Graves Madcatz controller that used to emit fart sounds when his headset was hooked up to it...lol
