What is the definition of a emo band?

I think emo is just a stereotype. Also, not all emos cut themselves or dress weird.

As for crappy, Senses Fail = Punk/Rock, not emo.

i dont like senses fail because their singer is shitty, sure he sounds fine on the albums but think of how many effects go into that, live hes god-awful
