- its part of their 'stimulus pack' update and mappack (it was officially released by IW today on their website). i was reading about it on the IW forum, and they are bringing golden guns back:

- guns with gold camouflage are:
- AK - 47 - P90 - RPD - Intervention - PP2000 - Striker - Desert Eagle
needed to unlock golden camouflage: - buy Map Pack 1 - 3000 kills with weapons, 300 head shots with weapons (all weapons in that category) (example: to get golden p90 get 300 kills with all sub-machine guns and 300 headhsots with all sub-machine guns) if this were true, im never going to even try for golden guns till 10th prestige. personally, it takes about 3000 kills to get 300 headshots for me (took me 2471 kills with the m16 to get fall camo for it). even then, it will make you WORK for it, which makes me happy. you cant just boost the 300 headshots They boosted for Golden Guns on COD4, they'll do it on MW2. The golden guns worked the same way on COD4 too. Golden Intervention here I come!.. Desert Eagle and AK too of course. ;D

| As far as the perks go, what ever they put under tier two is gonna be very tempting because stopping power is under tier two. | |

| That makes it not very tempting to me V8. Stopping power is a must for me. I don't mean to start a console war or anything but I noticed on COD4 and WaW on PS3 some of the lag meant Stopping power was irrelevant. On the 360 Stopping power makes all the difference IMO.
I can kill 3 people with a clip in almost any gun with stopping power. Need a full clip most of the time to kill someone without it.

| According to this article http://www.gametrailers.com/news/modern-warfare-2-gets-its/1900Only 360 get's the update on March 30th. A few hours ago Robert Bowling, community strategist extraordinaire for Infinity Ward, posted a link on his Twitter feed that leads to a website which all but says that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be getting its first Map Pack on March 30, 2010 – if you own an Xbox 360. A few minutes later, the good Mr. Bowling Tweeted that the DLC will be released on the PS3 and PC at ” a — yet to be announced — later date.” | |

It lagged like hell, and all it was, was a bunch of people with juggarnaut and silenced MP40s. It was the worst COD besides COD3. (On PS3 that is, only the co-op zombies was worth playing.)

| I always said that if I had played COD4 first on the PS3 I would have hated it. I played COD WaW on PS3 first and I hated it for the longest time. You needed jugg and MP40 to get any kills. Then when I got it on 360 I started to like it better. I could get kills with every weapon. | |

| Well it's the most powerful weapon. However I see more PPSH, Thompson, bolt action guns on the 360 version. | |

| Thats the problem with Call Of duty games 90% of the weapons are schust. MW2 also, you hardly ever see someone running around with a F2000 because its complete schust.l On Bfbc2 every weapon has use. Just cause you have a AUG doesn't mean your gonna beat out an AEK-971. Although you do unlock better guns as you rank up, none of your guns become obsolete. I see level 20's running around with XM8's second assault rifle you unlock because it a great weapon. | |

| Every review I've seen on BFBC2 said the best weapon is the one you start with. So looks like BFBC2 has the same problem. Treyarch made WaW, however there are tons of great guns in MW2. Famas, Tar-21, RPD, M-16, M4, UMP45, Raffica, Aug Hbar and all those retarded overpowered sniper rifles. | |

| dont forget the SCAR, P90, L86, and FAL (even without a mod, FAL is a good gun).
tbh, MW2 is an extremely balanced game, its just they made it for uber tryhards like blt
