Xbox 360 games playable on Windows 8 PC's?

Several sites have reported on this rumor, including Insideris and Teknylate. As of writing Microsoft have yet to make an official statement, but apparently you’ll be able to play Xbox 360 games straight from the disk on Windows 8. That is if your PC has the power to run them, of course.

You’ll also be able to access the Xbox live marketplace through your PC, and this obviously means gamertags will be supported as well. Sounds good, right? Unfortunately, there are also rumors of Microsoft charging a fee to use this service. I don’t know about you, but paying to play games you already own just doesn’t sit right with me.

Sounds like Microsofts plan for the future tbh, Bill Gates already stated like 2 years after the 360 released that he wasn't interested in doing much more than 1 successor to it and that he'd rather have people focusing on the PC for every need pretty much.

Well they are obviously going to come out with more Xbox consoles, but I can see them try to focus on getting more PC gamers back as well.

this reminds me of how some games are 60$ like normal and then you have to pay to play online. i hate it but companies are money hungry :\
