Brett Favre Signs with the Vikings

I so called this week's ago, at 39 he didn't want to go through the early training camp 2 a day's and the weight lifting rigors.
Now the Vikings are at least favorites to compete for the NFC title.

Favre's arm is fixed and they have Adrian Peterson (NFL's best RB) a strong Defense and fast WR's.
I see Favre playing like John Elway did his last couple of seasons with a great RB like Terrel Davis, strong Running game, good defense. Favre wont be asked to do much.

The 39-year-old quarterback turned his back on retirement for the second time in as many years, agreeing Tuesday to play for the Minnesota Vikings.

The deal is worth between $10 million to $12 million, according to ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

The Vikings made it official with a news release early Tuesday afternoon. A news conference to introduce Favre is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

The first inkling that something was afoot came early Tuesday, when two television stations in Hattiesburg, Miss., and Minneapolis reported that the Vikings had sent a private plane to Hattiesburg to pick up Favre.

Look at the first 8 games before he was hurt, he was on fire. Then he tore his shoulder and played through it.
You watch, he wont have to do much...175....225 yards a game, maybe a TD or two..that team is still dangerous with Adrian Peterson.

Well to throw the most TDs ever, your gonna throw INTs as well.
All he has to do is manage the game and the Running game will handle itself.
Like him or not, he is a gamer, he plays hurt, through loss, troubles...I'm just a fan of the guy he is.

The Vikes were a contender before, even with shitty Jackson or Rosenfails at QB.

I've seen 2 eagles vs. packers games.

One was 47-17 eagles, the other was 35-10. Fun schust. Brett didn't do too much in those. I look forward to seeing the vikings play. Seeing favre win one again would be pretty cool, i'd just rather have my boys win.

He got forced out of Green Bay, lets face it they had money invested in Aaron Rodger's and tried to push Favre out.
Then when he decides he want's to still play but not be a backup, he wanted the Packers to trade him to the Vikings, but they chose to send him to the Jets.
The first 8 games of the season he did great, then he hurt his arm and half assed the rest of the season.
He loves the game and I like his Good ol' boy mentality, you can see he enjoys the game itself.
Also he signed a 2 year deal, so we know he is most likely there for that amount of time.

man when is going to just stay retired what is he trying to prove?
